The Magistrate is seeking a Wordpress PHP Developer for their Development Team. We're a Wordpress, PHP, Javascript, CSS, Jquery and more shop, looking for experienced web developers. If you are a Web Guru, and you are agile, and are looking for a fun, relaxed (yet high paced!) place to work, then come join our rapidly growing team.

The right developer will provide WordPress configuration, customization, and development services to our internet marketing and design clients. You will work on many internal projects, which will provide variety in every day. You’ll also be working alongside our team of designers, WP and backend developers, SEOs and writers who communicate regularly using Slack and Trello.

Qualifications

• Have extreme proficiency (3+ years) in developing websites that incorporate PHP, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript (jQuery)
  
• Expert level experience with WordPress installation, administration, and customization (custom themes, plugins)
  
• Experience with cross-browser, platform and device testing
  
• Can develop for mobile development using frameworks such as Bootstrap
  
• Experience with responsive design, keeping up to date with current best practices
  
• Understanding and practice of standard UX and UI concepts
  
• Skills in major graphic software programs: Photoshop and Illustrator
  
• Strong ability to conceptualize and create intuitive, engaging, and brand-consistent desktop and mobile experiences for public-facing Web sites.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills – ability to test, debug and fix existing code as needed
  
• Can work both independently and as part of a team
